Due to the way most proxy servers request documents on your behalf, there is no way to determine if you have logged in, or indeed, if you are a different user than another user from your firm currently visiting this web site. Consequently, the areas requiring a login may not work for you at any given time, and should be considered unreliable.
If you are using a proxy server under your firm's control, you might talk with your network administrator to see if your firm's proxy server can be configured to always use the same (and unique) IP number for your web sessions. This number, however, must be different than anyone else's IP number (accessing our site from your site simultaneously) for this to work correctly.
