Twins Nicolle & Allison Krpan’s Victory Wall
| In June 2005, I met the Krpan twins, Nicolle and Allison, of Logansport and their family. Twins are always unique but the Victory Wall of Achievements in their room was so terrific I asked their Mom Tammy if I could share her concept for her children’s successes in my Dallas and Indiana Newsletters, the Visionary Scene. She graciously agreed to let others in on her great idea. |
Tammy has used a coat rack with a shelf to hold all of the trophies and ribbons that her beautiful and competitive twins have received. She placed it high on the wall, opposite the foot of the girl’s beds, so they may see daily that their victories are “lifted up” to a place of recognition and fame in their home. In Pyramid Feng Shui, placing shelves up high in the children’s rooms and putting all awards or study-related reward certificates, ribbons, photos or mementos of any achievement on, or near those shelves, is a way for your child to see their successes. It is a positive reinforcement as well as a visual reminder. “You can do it, you are an achiever, you are the best,” is the message you are reinforcing here. Symbolically you are “lifting up for recognition, all of their achievements.”
She wisely painted the walls a soft Pink (Love and Relationship) color, setting the tone for good relationships between the twins and the family. Pink encourages friendships and “bonding”. It is perfect Pyramid Feng Shui for these twins. Thank you to Nicolle and Allison. We look for more wonderful achievements in your futures. Thank you Tammy for sharing your great achievement oriented motivation with us all.
